Core Vision

It is the goal of the Billion Minds Foundation to enhance human potential, accelerate creativity, and address global sustainability through the collaboration of respected knowledge leaders and high net worth individuals and families throughout the world. This unique partnership will create a new socially responsible global vision and call to action for the betterment of billions of people around the world, and will foster a knowledge economy that meets the needs of the 21st century.

BMF Mission

We are convinced that innovation will speed up the economic growth of various countries and with it, the emergence of a vibrant middle class, which is indispensable for building a sustainable system for economic development and democracy. Without a substantial level of openness, trust, and collaboration between individuals and nations, life as we know it today is not likely to evolve beyond simply replicating the time-worn pathways of destructive conflict. The Billion Minds Foundation is a new organization for the 21st century, designed to create an institutional basis for global change, sustainability, innovation and leadership. This new global leadership model is based on sustainable, socially responsible values that embrace an open exchange of ideas and principles. This model incorporates a pool of global knowledge workers, using collaborative business systems and processes and reaching clients in emerging, as well as developed markets.

By maintaining a continuous presence with business leaders, visionaries, and innovators and improving the coordination among individuals who need to work together, we are in a pivotal position to advance the global knowledge economy. But doing so will require the support, creativity and action of many people and organizations around the globe. We believe that the real power for getting things done lies in people pursuing enlightened self-interest, connecting with others who share those interests, and having a combined impact on the world around those interests, at all times taking into account the interests of others.

With the rapid growth of the Internet and broadband technologies, billions of people will be able to maintain constant connections with people in far-flung parts of the world. In the past, connections were local-your neighborhood, your village, your tribe. All of this has changed dramatically in the wake of the online-social-networking phenomenon. Now it is becoming part of the collective consciousness; the more we connect people, the more people know one another, the better and more sustainable the world will be. The chances of achieving these objectives through cooperative networking are better today than ever before.

There are global seismic shifts that threaten to engulf long-dominant nations like the U.S. The leaders of tomorrow will be those who understand the issues facing the global knowledge economy and can find ways to update the old and proprietary business models and install the 21st century open-innovation and transformation systems that accelerate growth and productivity.
